I've always been fascinated by lighthouses. Maybe it's the beauty of these steel or brick structures, built to guide massive ships to port, or the fact that each one has its own history and unique features despite serving the same purpose. In the past few years, I’ve made it a goal to visit every lighthouse in Michigan—and if I’m lucky, even some out on the oceans! This gallery showcases my lighthouse excursions since I made that goal.
